Knoah's Ark saves lives!

As a director and founder of Knoah's Ark, I knew in order for me to continue helping animals I had to change the way we operated or the sheer numbers and sadness would defeat me.
Rescuing dogs from kill shelters was our main goal. After ten years the reality that saving them all was impossible. Like sticking a finger in a dyke you can only stop the flood for so long. Until society changes the way they treat the natural world around them, over population and cruelty will remain. With the help of dedicated volunteers Knoah's Ark was revamped and revitalized into what we are today. Realizing it is not about the numbers anymore we have devoted ourselves to the injured in most immediate need. Working with local veterinarians, we assist those dogs that otherwise would be put to death due to lack of funds by their owners. We are also training therapy dogs to take into our community hospitals, nursing homes and hospice. Please, help us continue to help our community, both two and four legged creatures alike.
